Over $2.5 million has been raised for the Power of YOU Program to date. The Minnesota Business Partnership, the City of Lakes Chamber of Commerce, and the Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce have endorsed the Power of YOU.
The Power of YOU, a collaboration among MCTC, Saint Paul College, and Metropolitan State University, is designed to significantly increase post-secondary participation rates of urban students, particularly students of color. The Power of YOU initiative is designed to help students overcome the real and percieved financial barriers to higher education while reinforcing the idea that post-secondary education is the key to a fulfilling life.

The MCTC Foundation is taking the lead in raising the funds needed to make Power of YOU a reality. Overall, this will be a $6 million dollar campaign over a five year term. Please contribute to the MCTC Foundation in support of the Power of YOU. A gift of $500, $250 or $100 to the MCTC Foundation in support of the Power of YOU would go a long a way in helping ease the financial burden to higher educatioin for every college-ready high school graduate in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
