Acceptance Letters

Acceptance letters for the Power of YOU program were mailed the week of May 26 to prospective students who completed the entire application process, which included Financial Aid verification. Please note, students accepted to the program must attend the mandatory Power of YOU orientation on the date assigned in their acceptance letter. Students will only be able to register after they have attended their orientation session.

Incomplete Applications

If Financial Aid verfication has not been completed, prospective students should have received a letter informing them that they need to respond to correspondence sent from MCTC's Financial Aid Office in order to be admitted to the program. Please contact Zakeitheia Mearidy in the Power of YOU Office at 612-659-6726 if you need assistance completing the Financial Aid verification process.

Income Cap

Due to the overwhelming number of applicants completing the required steps for admission to the Power of YOU program, MCTC had to decline students whose family's income exceeded $75,000. If you are one of these students, we encourage you to contact Chad Terry in Admissions at 612-659-6215 and he can help you complete the regular enrollment process for MCTC.
