About our online courses

Our online courses are comprehensive and self-contained. Each course is clear, complete, engaging, and filled with useful strategies and practical advice.

Every six-week online course is facilitated by an professional instructor who is skilled at creating supportive learning communities. Courses consist of project-oriented lessons, stimulating quizzes, and hands-on assignments, supplemented by lively and intelligent discussion areas.

How our online courses work

Courses last six weeks, with a two-week grace period at the end. A lesson is delivered online every Wednesday and Friday during the six-week period.

You will need Internet access, an e-mail address, and either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. Every course we offer has been carefully engineered to provide you with quick and easy access to all learning activities, no matter what type of computer or Internet connection you have. Some courses do require additional software or textbooks, so be sure to read the complete course description before registering.

It's easy to get started!

  1. Visit our Online Instruction Center.
  2. Click the Courses link. Once you choose the department and course title you are interested in, select the Enroll Now button. Follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. Here you will enter your email address and choose a password that will grant you access to the classroom.
  3. When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the Classroom link. To begin your studies, simply log in with the email address and password you selected during enrollment.
