Java Developer Certification 1 and 2 cover the core Java language features and prepare you for the Sun Certified Programmer (SCJP) certification, and are prerequisites to more advanced certification levels. Sun recommends practicing Java development for a few months after completing the core coursework to solidify your knowledge of Java.
