Minneapolis Community & Technical College, located on the edge of downtown, is literally walking distance from 98 architectural firms and their employees. These firms employ over 3,300 architects and architectural/CAD technicians, 300 related engineering professionals, and 700 interior designers and facilities planners.
As architectural firms move toward total automation of their designs, the use of computer-aided drafting resources, such as AutoCAD, has never been more prevalent.
The college created a local training focus and offers various AutoDesk training courses. This training will allow practicing professionals to upgrade and maintain their skills and knowledge.
